About MeHello everybody, I've put a lot of information up and there's not a lot that I've put that talks anything about me. Well, I just happen to have three different hobbies: model airplanes, technology, and writing. Why am I interested in Technology?Let me start with technology. I might be a little over-confident, but I feel that I'm a computer expert. I made this website only by using Notepad, Notepad++, and Microsoft FrontPage 2000 believe it or not! If you don't know what Notepad is, it's basically the equivalent of TextEdit in Macintosh and it's a lot simpler than your average word-processor. I got interested in technology at age 11, when I wanted to buy a new computer. I researched and researched, and I found out that I actually liked technology. I got more and more interested as time went on and I got tons of books from the library, and soon enough, I became a computer expert! I still learn more and more stuff about technology everyday and my passion will never stop!Since I got more and more interested in technology, I decided that I should make a website. I got a few books from the library, and sooner than later, I became not only a computer expert, but I also became a web designer! I decided to put my hobbies and interests in my website, and soon I created a diverse and good website. After I was working on my website, I decided to use my diverse knowledge and make how-to articles. I want to share what I know to the world around me and show people how to do things that they want to know. I always like teaching people how to do things easily and effectively and that's especially true with computers. I always try to find new ways to give you information and to teach you stuff. Well, I don't have many things to play around with. The only thing that I use all the time to have fun with is my Windows-based computers. One's a Dell desktop (pretty powerful and useful in my opinion) and it's the new computer that I talked about earlier. Well, that's not my only PC. I have several others as well. I have my Windows ME computer that I sometimes use to play my favorite video games. I also have my Windows XP Service Pack 1 laptop. My fourth computer is the Windows XP desktop that I use to play other favorite video games. My Dell has Windows Vista, but I'm not sure if I want to install a second operating system (also known as dual-booting, which I discuss how to do in one of my how-to articles (Windows 7)). Software that I have? There is not a lot in my arsenal. As I said in the last paragraph, I spoke about how I wanted to buy Windows 7, should I do it or not is the question. I know that Windows 7 is going to obviously be better than Vista, but is it going to cost less? Is it going to provide all of the features that I want? Is it going to actually work? Those are the questions that I ask. Why am I interested in Model Airplanes? Why am I interested in Model Airplanes is the question. Well, I like them because they fly, they make wacky movements in the air that real airplanes cannot make, but the real reason is because of my dad. If he likes Model Airplanes, then there's a good chance that I would probably like them as well. I could say that my dad likes Model Airplanes more than I do, but I like flying in the simulator and flying at our field. So that's why I like Model Airplanes! Why am I interested in Writing?I really can't answer this question. Why am I interested in Writing? I don't know. I like writing fiction, but I don't like reading fiction. I like reading non-fiction, but I don't like writing non-fiction. That's really strange. I just like to write stuff, that's all!About my the logo:If you're wondering about that weird logo that I have on every page of my website, you're in good luck. That logo is the one I use in the Windows 7 Center Forums. I use it for when I post there. My user name in the forums is acjuan, by the way. It's a prairie dog that thinks that it's a PC. I modified it with Paint. So that's why I have that logo in my website! |
