Introduction to my Website

Hello visitors! Awesomely Cool Juan is an awesome website to visit when you feel bored. This website features blogs, stories, and much more. So I think that you should stick around if you want to learn more about this awesomely cool website. There are stories that I will be posting, and there are instructions that involve computers and software for those who are interested in, you guessed it: computers and software!

Model Airplanes

Don't think that my dad is left out of all of this. My dad likes model airplanes and he is putting stuff on his piece of cyberspace as well.

The stuff that he puts is up to him, and because of that, I won't be telling what he puts on his page.

Technology

The last part of my website is the Technology Section. This is where I put all of the how-to articles about computers and occasional news about Microsoft and Apple.

Reason for the Name of this Website:

Now, I know that you're wondering why this website's name is Awesomely Cool Juan (well, maybe you're not wondering, but just in case). The reason that this website is named Awesomely Cool Juan is because it makes me feel accomplished of something, such as a website. Who isn't happy when the name of there website has to do with something positive such as awesomely cool?

If your wondering about the Juan part of the website name, it's obviously because mine and my dad's name is Juan.

I know what you're thinking: "What a pathetic and overly confident name for a website". But hey, it's better that having a name such as: Tanner Richardson or, This is a Tanner Richardson publication Website.

A note for Dial-up users:

Now, I know that many people accessing the Internet still use dial-up. Don't get me wrong, I know how it is when you sit in front of your monitor and you see the little loading status bar in your browser that never moves. You wonder why it loads so slowly.

I know all about that because I used to have a backup Internet connection just in case my broadband Internet crashed. I couldn't see certain websites because the graphics and pictures were to much for a simple "click-read-and go" person.

Well, I'll have some mercy for those dial-up users out there by not adding too many pictures and graphics that slow down the browsing speed.

Just a little note for dial-up users out there.

Updates

Okay, this is the part where I talk about how often you should visit this little corner of the web.

Updates are every now and then just like any other website, but I'll keep you entertained while I add more stuff to the site.

Specifically, my website should get updates to bugs, links, or new pages everyday or two, so this website will not be abandoned for a long time.

Pictures and Drawings

As I mentioned earlier, there aren't too many pictures and drawings because I don't want dial-up users to feel left out.

But on the flip side, I like sharing my pictures and drawings with the Web!

So, this website has a moderate amount of images.

The bottom line, I keep it clean and simple.

Pictures that I find on the Internet

I kind of have the hobby of looking for random images on the Web. Most of the images that I find are desktop backgrounds (that's because I sometimes have the habit of changing my background image every day). Not all of the images that I find are desktop backgrounds though, some of them are small images.

Links

There will be links to other websites as well. Don't worry, these link to websites that are NOT contagious and they are NOT virus-infected.

Opinions

In most of my pages, the opinions I give are kept to the minimum. That's right, you won't hear me blabbering away about something such as the economic crisis in the US.

Polls

There is a Poll Section of my website, which features, you guessed it: polls! Everything in this section of my website is designed for you to give your opinion from everything about technology to your favorite story that I write. Once you select your opinion, then it gets submitted to me by e-mail. Have fun casting your vote!

YouTube Section

This is the part where I talk about the YouTube Section of my website! Yes, there are YouTube videos that I will be putting.

This part is of my website has several links where you can go to websites that feature free downloads.

Since I'm a person that doesn't like to pay for "professional" stuff that often (I buy something cool and attractive maybe once every 6 months or so), I typically try to find free stuff on the web which I can use for everyday computing.

I like to post my findings and where else to post them than Awesomely Cool Juan!

I have tested all of the links and there are no viruses in any of them.

The Future of Awesomely Cool Juan:

One day, I'm going to get bored of the layout of my website. One day, I'll take it down and make a complete over-haul of it and change everything. Maybe I'll improve the navigation and the speed.
